    Something doesnt add up. Which bolts are these? The ones from UK? Are these fittings the same height as MAP fittings? You may have to get the long bolts from ebay and cut them off.

    It still looks like you have some space between all the pieces. Can you compress the assembly more? The way that the Mishimoto fittings come from the box is very similar to that actually. THe bolt doesnt stick out past the fitting that much (but more than you are showing)

    Welp, banjos don't matter now.

    I was going through the car in prep like I do before every track day. Taking plugs out to check everything over, my heart sank. Oil on plug, oil in cylinder. The weird thing is the car ran fine.

    Going to do a compression check but not when it's night time so my neighbors don't hate me.

    Super bummed right now. I hate cars.

    Yea, going to do a compression test next. I didn't do one when I discovered this last night because I didn't want to upset my neighbors. :P

    Unfortunately I don't have the tools to do a leak down test at home. I have a small little compressor that is really only good for filling a tire or two.

    Received the longer double banjo bolts from ebay that you linked to. These are probably some of the shittiest quality things I have seen in a long time. Good lord. If somebody didn't checked before they used these it would cost them a motor... I can't believe I payed $17/each for this crap.

    Can't win, huh?

    Now you just have to shorten the bolt a bit and make the body narrower so that it screws into block fully. I actually widened those holes with a dremel for better flow.

    If I where to say, send my spare cylinder head out for service and prep, who are the best now? I heard of all these issues you have had with your heads. Who do I trust?

    English is the only shop who’s done what they said they would do and did it well. But they are really expensive and take forever.
    Find out what may be the problem and figure out where to send it from there. I’m guessing it’s valve guides or seals if the short block is good.

    Kept my oil temps at 230* during a whole 20min track session tho...

    I agree with @Black E no way would I put that on my engine. I'd rather pay somebody to make custom bolts for me.

    Thanks for the info on the head @Black E. I was kicking around the idea of maybe trying Curt Brown?

    Also, today I put another set of used plugs in and drove the car around for about 15 minutes to warm it up so I could do a warm compression check. I never saw any smoke at WOT (I only WOT for about 1000rpm just to be safe) and never saw any at idle.

    The plug came out with a little oil on it, not sure if it was from the oil in the cylinder or from whatever is putting oil into the cylinder.

    I did a compression check and it came out solid so that made me feel better that it might just be a leaky guide or seal. Either way the head is going to have to come off. I'm going to try and make an appointment with my local shop to do a leak down test and take the head off.

    The only time I’ve dealt with Curt Brown is when I got my ceramic wheel bearings from him. He was pretty easy to deal with, I found out during the process he just sends them out to some bearing company.
    If it’s the guides then a competent machine shop should be able to handle it...have you asked the shop that does your work if they have any recommendations?

    After all my head failures I’m at the point that rather take my chances with a stock head even for big power simply because that has been the at reliable for me so far.

    Curt Brown is a good guy, fairly priced, and there are a lot of local people here (Pittsburgh) that swear by his engines and heads. The guy, as most ppl know, has been in the game a long time and has had good sucess.

    I know he was using PRL for machining ( http://prlmotorsports.com ), the same shop that built joeyrukkus and funwads cars. I am not sure if he still uses them though...in Pittsburgh there is no shortage of good machine shops since everyone and their mom did that type of work to support the industries here.

    He does do his own porting though, I would hit him up. I only know of one engine he built to blow on a local guys evo 8. After that he started using carrilo rods on all builds.
