Well the car is running great and all seems good so far.
But I’m not liking the car anymore, this thing gives me major anxiety all the time now because I’m just expecting the worst again.
So I’m going to sell it, as is. Not going to part it out.
I’ll still post the fuel system info later lol.
I feel you there and don't blame you, especially since you have another fun car, really no downside. I couldn't even have fun and flog my car anymore as I just assumed it would break even though I spent so much time making sure it didn't Once you get to that point it's time to move on I think. After two motors and a head rebuild I called it quits. Selling it is hard though, mainly as it's tough to see it go (emotionally I mean) and also tough to price it right so it does sell as you will always believe it's worth more. The people who buy heavily modded cars can suck a lot too as you will have to deal with a lot of cheap ass people that really can't afford the car.
Sorry, don't mean to put a downer on your next steps.. I totally see where you are coming from and I think you did the community a big service by recording everything you did on forums so good work there.
Good luck moving forward man!

The ZL1 is high high on my list. The part I’m now debating is wether to get a “regular” ZL1 or non 1LE and use that for Mexico/roll/drag fun and track the ZR1 or vice versa.
I’m not doing a million track days next year, I’d be surpriced if I can make 10
I can only imagine the ZL1 awesomeness level. I drove an SS and that is what I was planning ot buy next, with a small chance of going ZL1 but now with building our "dream home" and a new baby etc cars are off the list for a while.
Basically I am saying the ZL1 has got to be good if it's a better SSI vote yes on that.

Don’t know man, I haven’t seen any Evo X capable of this:
https://youtu.be/t4zSIVpVMaw
Doesn’t seem like a elephant around the track. Only negative I see is all the aero slows it down big time in the straights
Right there with ya man. Mine has sat in the garage for almost the entire time I've had it back. The anxiety I have while driving it far exceeds the enjoyment (if any) that it brings. Unfortunately it would be nearly impossible to sell it at this time of the year in Missouri so I'll probably wait until spring to put it up FS.
WTF 2.0 in Progress
It's a total track weapon. Anyone that says different hasn't driven one.
The thought of taking it to the track bone stock with the only changes being brake fluid and alignment and putting down much faster lap times than my Evo 10 currently does without all the heartache and missing half the year of track days every year because something expensive broke and industry people taking a billion years just to do their job, sounds pretty darn appealing.
^^^With warrantee to boot
That 10 speed auto is pretty badass too! Check out stangkilr's ZL1. I think it made 900-1000rwhp pretty easily. Untouched engine if I'm not mistaken.
WTF 2.0 in Progress
I raced 1 with the 10 speed auto... oh my fucking God. There isnt a lunch control in the world that beat that thing off the line. By the time I was at the top of 1st gear, he was about 3 car lengths In front. And was already in 4th gear... things are scary fast..
It also had a higher stall lol.

Buddy of mine just parted his X out to get a ZL1 1LE and f'n loves it. Faster lap times than his X on day 1 and was still getting use to a RWD. I guess now we can add Camaro to the list of fast Vettes everyone chases.
Welp...she’s plastered all in the FB groups. Going to try a few CL locations as well
Saw it, I will go plug a good word saying how it is the best priced buy for you. Sorry to hear, but if you keep giving us Bette goodness it will all be alright.

Still no luck with the sale, so in the mean time I've enjoyed it a little and took her out to a track day at my local track Palm Beach International.
Happy to report the car did flawless and had no issues at all in the 5 20min sessions I did. Only ran 22-23psi but still had a blast and used up 2 tanks of fuel, even did a couple laps on the 1st and 2nd low fuel warnings and all was good. I myself had some trouble with dizziness so I had to skip 2 of the 7 sessions so next time I'm going to try the nausea patch that my Evo brother/dentist friend hooked me up with
The DS2500 pads are roasted though so I'm going to have to get something different next time around. The Bridgestone Re71R's did good but I can see that these would only last 2 maybe 3 track days if I'm lucky, not sure if that's normal or not. Also going to figure out how to setup the lap timer on the motec dash display just so I can see my improvements over time.
In other news I did sell the Varis front bumper and installed the OEM bumper with a Ralliart V2 carbon lip I had bought a while ago along with the OEM RS fog deletes, JDM front and rear bumper beams and HKS Kansay front and rear tow hooks...because JDM track life YOOO lol. Also after like 4 years I was able to fix my keyless entry fault code that had disabled the whole keyless entry system except for the keyless start. It turned out to be that one of the wires going to the exterior antenna behind the rear bumper was bad, all I had to do was cut and run a new wire so now the car has no more stupid dash light at all!
The car is still for sale although I may keep taking it out to track days in the mean time (that's if I can resist the urge to put the OEM blower pulley and throw some PSC2's on the ZR1 and take that out!!) but I'm considering removing the Akra exhaust and maybe the carbon steering wheel to relist the car at a lower price, maybe like 5K less, in hopes of getting more people interested....Thoughts?

Nice! Highly recommend Raybestos ST43's for front pads. The DS2500's are crap.
