    Back when I used that pile o' crap EP controller, it would do the same thing depending on how the power was set

    Yup, same sound. It follows the pump though, and not the controller.

    Replacement fuel pumps will be here this week. What is the easiest way to get old fuel out of the tank? Could I just disconnect the feed line at the rail and cycle the pumps on to run the tank dry?

    I think that is what I did. you can just turn the key/ignition with the feedline disconnected and put that into a gas can.

    Replaced the fuel pumps a few weeks ago. Turns out the previous 450's were fine. One of them was rattling making contact with the fuel pump bracket inside the surge tank which is what I was hearing. Oh well I got two new fuel pumps now.

    Shortly after I noticed the pressure at the FPR was abnormally high. Like 65-75 psi high. I had very little adjustability with the FPR and pump controllers so I pulled the basket and sure enough the return orifice was clogged. Cleaned that and all is well.

    I do have a leak at the surge tank wiring harness fitting now. Not sure if the washer is corroded or the shop who replaced the pumps didn't tighten it enough. Getting that fixed soon.

    I'm now having a lean issue at WOT. Not sure if the tune needs adjusted or something else is going on. Currently waiting to hear back from TJ on the logs I sent over. I'm thinking my fuel pump relay could be bad because the one WOT pull I made hit 13.x afr which leads me to believe the relay is bad.

    Here is a couple recent pics of the car. Went to our local Cars & Coffee Saturday which was an amazing turn out. There was rumored to be over 1,000 cars! I even got to see a new Ford GT which was pretty badass!

    Just saying that this update seems like business as usual haha

    It's a good thing I sold my evo, I would be in real trouble right now financially if I still had mine. But hopefully you get yours sorted soon man, summer is coming and hopefully you can enjoy the car!
