    My motor let go a few years back, been in the process of growing a fund to complete a full build and a tune. Have a bit to go, but I am a big picture guy and want to have an idea of where to take my business ahead of time. Been bouncing between DF, CBRD, and Buschur. I'll have to give Whalen a good look.

    I would not go to CBRD - my experience was not good. And its closed now
    DF - to my knowledge is not taking on builds right now - might want to double check.
    Buscher built my 2nd motor, but I dont think Dave is tuning anymore.

    Tpg and whalen are both able to build your project and tune it. I would point in one of those directions.

    I had to tow my evo there after DF sandbagged for 8+ months. Solid team and communication was great. They pulled my engine, replaced cam phaser, set correct valve lashing (which DF set incorrectly, and is probably what screwed up the cam phaser), found an exhaust leak (Due to DF using an incorrect clamp on downpipe) and then dyno tuned.

    Ben Stoner runs the place and communication was awesome.
    Corbin does the tuning and was quick about it.

    I know a lot of local guys use them and swear by them a few guys that use them are on this forum. Matt Galiano's car was worked on by them, I am unsure if they built his motor though. My guess is that even though TPG may build motors it is probably PRL machining it or a combination of PRL machining the motor and Curt Brown assembling it. That is speculative tho based on PRL being in the same building.


    From a bolt shit on and tune standpoint, I know a ton of people that have used them with no issues.

    Fighting oil leaks, so sick of it already. Seems to be off the turbo as tcase is soaked.

    Seems to be the shitty drain on this ATP kit. Bolts seemed to have loosen off, can get to the one closet to firewall but impossible to get to bolt closet to engine block. Evox really can be a cunt to work on sometimes.

    3rd time I have had leaking issues with this drain. I swear there is something wrong with the desgin of this kit.

    Pretty sure I'm having the same issue (different drain line). Such a bitch to work on for such a simple fix. Makes me not even want to mess with it. Pretty sure my o-ring is leaking though.

    Installed a need cv axel. For some reason it’s alway my front driver cv axel that needs to be replaced every 2 to 3 years. Now I need to replace my AC condenser before it gets too hot.

    Getting my injectors cleaned today. Hope they're okay after sitting with ethanol all winter. Car drives fine but it's going lean at WOT 5k and on.

    Whalen did my initial tune, and will be tuning me when the 2.2S goes in.

    As far as the Evo goes, called insurance. Incredible hail damage coupled with raccoon scratches on my bumper from one committing suicide.

    my tablet magnetic mounting solution got messed up so i took dash apart.
    did some removal of old "legacy wiring" and fixed my tablet install and charger. went ahead and took the seats out and did some deep cleaning.

    ran some new wires for the racepcapture to finally hook up my ethanol content sensor i'v had sitting around for a couple of years.

    Hope, I found a carbon fiber manufacture in China, yes China I know. I wasn’t going to pay the crazy prices that are listed in the US for a steering wheel. I was willing to take a chance and quality and Craftsmanship is amazing!
