I'd part it out first and then sell via Facebook through one of the Evo X pages or Marketplace.

Wow, this is very discouraging especially since my car is in the shop right now getting the motor build finished up. I just received a message informing me that the car had its first start up today and ready to put the first 100 miles on the new clutch and motor.

Who is still pushing those Manley boat anchors? I feel so sorry for everyone duped into buying those awful hunks of Chinese garbage. Maybe the new tariffs imposed against Chinese goods will bring their purchase price up to a point at which no one will consider them anymore.

Edit: Sorry, I know that that is OT.

I have manley I-beams. I thought you wanted to stand clear of the H-beams? To be fair, I bought a spare block someone had laying around but it was built late 2015.

They are not ideal. In a rotating assembly, weight is your enemy. These are some of the heaviest rods on the market. I would absolutely not recommend these rods for any kind of competition use. I have seen couple of guys try this, and they (the rods) have ended up escaping the block on a few occasions. That MIGHT have had more to do with the assembly of the motor, but I can't prove that.

I thought the manley turbo tuff rods were a necessity when pushing 700+ hp?

There is nothing wrong with Turbo Tuffs, except weight.

That is like saying that there is nothing wrong Ted Bundy except that he killed a few people. Technically, yes, but that is a huge issue.
