    Push vs pull clutch

    Hi Guys,

My clutch (Xtreme twin carbon) is toast, I have the ability to rebuild it, at probably a cost of about $900 (with organic plates), but it's a pull type, I'm wondering if I should just go for a new clutch and change to a push type instead??

    Thoughts?

I’ve never had a problem with the pull setup but I do use the ACT Monolock for peace of mind. To me it seems better to keep the OEM system for less complications and reliability.
I guess Extreme Clutch AU just launched in the US. The twin organic sound like a winning setup for a daily with decent power, do they make a triple organic?

I'd just rebuild it and put an ACT Monoloc onto the pressure plate if it's compatible. There are 2 ACT part numbers so you'll have to check with the manufacturer to see if they know which one works with their particular clutch.

I have exedy triple disc with push convertion and i loveeee it. makes pulling trans and everything alot easier. It changed the way the clutch felt as well. I did it because this was before the mono clip but i dont regret doing the convertion at all
