Installed the ID1700x injectors and after some sort period of tuning, did some tests today.

4th gear pull at 2.3 bar

    20190102_100010.jpg

First test of the Dragy device
Began the pull with 2nd gear, at a slight upward road, with traffic and reached 200 klms per hour with 5th gear, instead of 4th.

    Screenshot_20190102-183107_dragy.jpg

So, I have a feeling that the car could go an easy 4.5 sec for 100 - 200 kph.

I am still figuring out the tuning side and all. Does your explanation of
Road explain the lean spot at 5,500 rpm or so?

Take a look at the latest pull I did today, with some changes at the fuel calibration map close to the 5500 -7500 rpm area.

Test done again. This time I started with 2nd gear and reached 200kph with 4th close to 9000 rpm.

The SST did it's thing again today. The P1833 code is now there all day long. Even gears are out and the transmission is going to be opened again in a few weeks. So, let's see what happened this time. All plastic magnets are secured well with screws...

    Found the root cause.
The 2/4 magnet was moving despite the fact that there was a screw inside. It just couldn't move completely out.

Now I am going to try with Dodson s latest (version 6) 2/4 shift fork magnet. And hope for the best of luck. Last time I 've tested a Dodson magnet (older version) it was a complete failure.

props to you and your man-hours for continuing to go ahead. 98% of the people out there would have quit by now.

I was damn sure that your bolt/nylon insert nut was going to be plenty for the magnet. but i guess not

I never quit man. It is the 6th time we open the transmission the last 3 years. And trying to do it better each and every time. But something/s are going wrong each time...

The Dodson V6.0 magnet worked fine, only after the Shift Fork Teach In. Before that it wouldn't engage into 4th gear.

So, the 2019 plan continues as expected.
Already ordered the Syvecs ECU and waiting for the EFR 9274 to be released within the next 4 weeks...

Hi man, is the Syvecs with SST support already available? My supplier told me it was going to be released in early February, I've been waiting to pull the trigger on it since they launched the 5spd version.

Syvecs uses their new S7+ ECU for the evo X SST platform and the release of it is on February. They agreed to have an OEM ECU sent to them, but i still don't know when they are going to send me the S7+ p&p.

What is the benefit of the Syvecs over the Motec unit?

I don't think there is a benefit. I am pretty sure that motec is better, but they don't offer a P&P ECU supporting SST transmission.
