    my cursed gsr sm build

    The car is like every year having a very rough year. I cracked a second rear diff housing so I swapped to the ralliart/ evo9 rear diff. At the first event I snapped a ujoint while out of town before even crossing the start line so that test day was done. At the next event I found out that my diff under load was acting like a open diff when lifting a wheel along with a loose transfer case so it made for a very slow day. The bright side is I got to drive the car home from its first out of town event even tho it was wounded and 7-10 seconds off pace. Now I just need to replace the rear diff with a stronger unit and shave another 100lbs. currently the car is sitting around 3360 with a little over half a tank of gas and a gallon of washer fluid with just the seat bottom taken out.

    Just curious do you take the do-luck off for autocross? I see that you do SCCA and I swear they specifically prohibit a CF trunk in SM or did I miss something in their rule book? I've been holding off on getting a CF trunk for this reason.

    Never mind it looks like they allow it now and only restrict doors & roof.

    I normally run it for daily driving even tho it is so much lighter. You can now have cf hoods and trunks tho. I plan to mount a more fitting wing to the stock trunk for larger events

    I am trying to work out a deal on a apr 300 series wing since it would help some along with adding a front splitter.
