I kinda gave up on rebuilding this thread lol

    Ok update!

So in addition to paying down some debt to be able to afford this build I knew that at some point one of the most important mods of all was going to need to happen, beater car. I got the summer tires earlier in the spring so i figured I would either need snow tires for the stock rims OR that long awaited beater car mod. I started looking in the 3500 dollar range for some honda or possibly a truck that could potentially tow the evo if the worst happens. I looked at a few things that were either too beat up or just looked crappy. Then I came across what I now refer to as "Monster Beater Truck" MBT for short. It's a 96 Tahoe with a giant lift and custom rear tire holder/roof rack. The guy that built it was super into search and rescue I guess. It has rust but nothing like falling apart wise, runs good and the tranny has been rebuilt recently. So basically I traded race car problems for giant old truck problems.

I'm going to store the Evo for the winter and keep saving and collecting parts. Longest build ever right?
I found a garage for rent 10 min walk from my house, going to get the control arms on, oil change, pump gas in the tank and car washed really good. Still need to get a battery tender or something.

Sweet ass beater truck! I was in the same boat and my dad just offered to give me his 2005 Hyundai sonata. Nothing fancy but it will save me miles on the evo!

Little progress, took a trip to Summit with @Funwad yesterday. Picked up a bunch of fittings, heat sheath for the oil feed, and oh just a magical 800hp fuel basket.

Once I get the fuel lines mostly fitted and assembled it might be go time for turbo install.

This is the basket out of @Funwads car, he made 810hp with it. He modified it similar to how Englando did. Plus ran a boost a pump, big lines and big injectors.

I made that power with a Kenny bell boost-a-pump wired up as well, so it wasn't just the modified basket that did it

Bulkhead fittings so there is no bottle neck to get out of the basket, go check out englandos build thread on the other forum, thats the closest there is to a write up.

Pulled my head from the basement so I can get it checked out to make sure it's in perfect working condition when it goes in the car.

Speed Circuit built it and did a piss poor job shipping it so better safe than sorry.
