    Same here. Only time the car will see pump is on initial start up/break in. That's what I was told to run

    Red Line is pretty cheap through us.

    I think this all started when Motul distributors said to never use 300V (their ester-based oil) with E85... seems really anecdotal to me.

    I will contact Red Line about it, though... maybe there's something to it.

    Thats the stuff that i was reading too. I dont know that much chemical engineering, but it seems like it could be plausible that esters and alcohols are soluble within each other based on their chemical structure. Esters are derived partially from alcohols. My only background in this is organic chemistry courses, so i am really just guessing.

    So, was doing some more tuning. Car feels nice and healthy. Having trouble hooking the tires sometimes. THis a 3rd gear pull: What do you guys think? Is it too much timing at max torque? (I am assuming that max torque happens right after max boost hits)

    I want to have this thing more or less settled with the tune before i put a new exhaust on it. The new one will be a full titanium 3.5" right from the turbo. Just want to compare spool characteristics as apples to apples.

    I think good where it’s at on e85 but it is probably close to MBT at peak TQ. Personally I would leave the timing and just make it a tad richer at peak boost/TQ.

    was trying to do a few street pulls a few days ago. Im running into traction issues. im braking the tires loose in 3rd gear and the engine cuts power. The Cooler temps are not helping with traction for sure.
