    The LT4 is in the truck. I'm wrestling with all the little bits, intercooler tanks, so on. No major modifications to the fuel system were required.

    I have no intentions of modifying anything, so 650 HP/Torque at the flywheel. Maybe a tune would be in order once the warranty is up.

    I haven't had much time to update this thread and I don't think anyone really cares, but I've got nothing pressing to do at the moment. I managed to suppress the rebellion on Xtrar 5 and the virus we engineered to wipe out the sentients on Arghba 214 worked even better than we expected with near 100% mortality rate.

    Bits and bobs need made. This thing has a liquid to air intercooler, so I bought a huge setrab cooler and stuck it in front of the radiator.

    It comes complete with a small coolant pump that has to live somewhere.

    Body shop painted the tank, but might would look better crinkle painted? I've no idea why sideways.

    Well, I needed a new subframe and why not make a bombproof skid plate of it? And, I'll need to service the truck.

    The -12 fittings were a no go and they go to and from the sump tank. The front view that ties into the motor mounts.

    Now, the oil lines run right next to the header on the passenger side. No way I'd want a hose running through there and there wasn't room for it anyway. So, hardlines out to the front.

    I had to turn down some barbs to attach the hose to keep engine vibration from doing what it does. Of course, some welding is involved.

    Then, I had to build these things. What a pain in the neck. I tried some fantastically nice headers that didn't fit. So, I build these with routing around an external slave cylinder.

    The exhaust is all but sorted. The welder did a fantastic job and it certainly was not me. I am hopeful that cracks and other problems are not in my future.

    Okay, everybody likes a catch can. Since this engine is direct injection, the PCV system is important. I don't want oil and gunk coking up the intake valves.

    But before that I forgot to post a picture of the headers I built. I had to route the passenger side exhaust over the transfer case, which was somewhat tight. I used pie pieces to annoy a friend.

    As I believe I mentioned above, there is an external slave cylinder on the driver side that was in the way.

    The headers are sweet, but what a ridiculous amount of work to build them. I used cast elbows right off the flange to keep things tight. A key objective was to keep the exhaust up high and out of the way so that nothing bottoms out.

    Here is a shot of the sump tank--it contains 12 quarts of oil. I figure 2-3 quarts in the engine (it does have a small sump) makes maybe 4 gallons or so in total.

    I had to re-engineer the fan shroud and set up. I need a fan on whenever the AC compressor is on to avoid overheating the fluid in the condenser, so I have a small Spal fan tucked in down low on the driver side.

    The side of the tube is mounted on a small barb that I turned out of aluminum. I put a piece of silicone on it for to damp vibration and the tube on the intake rides on the barb.

    Back to catch cans. I wanted a large one with lots of coalescing media to catch as much gunk as possible. The can is 3" in diameter and 8" in length.

    The LT4 has a pcv valve under the supercharger that sends gases from the lifter valley and into the intake. I replaced it with a vented tube (top part) that seals shut the intake port.

    I have a line from each valve cover, one from the lifter valley and one more that might pull from the lower crankcase. All of the lines will go through the sump tank first, then flow into the center of the catch can. One line returns to the intake and the other to the port in the throttle body (which should be linked to the intake) with a one-way valve.

    I built a chamber with perforated aluminum sheet and welded it to an aluminum cup, which screws onto a hollow threaded dowel.
