I really have no idea, I am hoping a tad more to the left then everyone else. Only thing I wish i would have done is run 10:1 but im running 9:1

This maybe a stupid question but what's the difference of running 9:1 over a 10:1??? I know it got to do with compression & that but I was always told if it a road car you run it at 9:1 & if a track car then you run it at 10:1??? What are the pros & cons of each?

So higher compression, usually, means moar practically free power - at the expense of more potential detonation. Therefore, 9.0:1 (stock) = safer with pump gas. On the flip side, E85 is very knock resistant compared to gas, so you can run higher compression and it ends up actually running much better. That said, don't be afraid to go 9.5:1 or 10:1 on a pump gas-only car. Its not a crazy insane thing to worry about if your tune is squared away.

The track car vs street car thing is mostly irrelevant.

Thanks for clearing that up, I think we are told that about the compression over here in the UK because we don't get E85 freely in our normal pump gas station like you do. I think it's more easily & lightly for us to get different fuels more around track/circuit stuff then Day to Day.

When the motor was built 3 years ago I was making a DD car so i wanted 9:1 now I dont know what i am building but wish i would have taken advantage of high compression. I also never planned to run e85 but f it

Updates, the ohlins were giving me crazy camber so I took them off.

Car runs and drives. So far I have driven it 50 miles, in 6 hours I will be driving the 500 miles to St Louis. TJ and I have a date. Maybe a few Zj's

Well nothing went as planned. I have to give a thank you to @DereksX and @tjwtftune @habib
I met a bunch of nice evo guys

I picked my car up 10 days ago, I pretty much drove her the first 500 miles to St Louis for the tune. I had a massive boost leak. We spent a few hours tracking that down and found out the vacuum line to the waste gate was melted. We also have a big over boost problem on 93. After habib and derek helped me get the car on the lift we pulled the down pipe and swapped out the vacuum lines to the waste gate to a silicon hose. We finally get her on the dyno and put up 540hp and 470 ft/lbs on 93. Then the vacuum lines melted again so we never got to the good juice. Dont right off the 8374 yet, there is a lot more in the build.

My ERL motor had perfect compression across the board and thats after 2 years and some track days. I did lose an oil squiter and drivefab was able to get that fixed with out pulling rods

Future - I need to swap out the vacuum lines to the waste gates with stainless, the kit should come this way. I also need to run water lines to the wastegates. I think we are going to swap in 12 # springs into the wastegate to try to solve the over boost issue. We really cant get an aggressive 93 tune. Over all its good news that the motor and the set up works well. I am sad that I drove so far to have this problem 2 times. My wife will not allow me to street tune the car, so I will need to rent a dyno to finish the tune.
